Ambition: a strong desire to do or to achieve something, typically requiring determination and hard work.

Wanderlust: a strong desire to travel.

As you can tell by the definitions, I've got some strong desires- desires that can seem to be in opposition (even in my own mind). Sometimes I want to work as hard as possible to get a great job and do super well in school, and other times I want to drop out of college, move to a tiny island to scoop ice cream full-time.

I can't be the only one with this weird dichotomy, right?

I love traveling, in fact, I've got a list of some of my favorite trips here.

I also love to dream big when it comes to life (like, real, traditional life, not just traveling). I'm currently a student at NYU Stern with hopes to make it big in business.

I decided to start this blog to write about this weird conflict of interest I have within myself (that I'm convinced other people have too), and to help people like myself (and you!)  figure out how to fulfill their wanderlust without having to give up on their big dreams.
